Mansfield takes first round of ‘Pinnacle of Fitness Challenge’
During halftime at the women’s basketball game at Gampel Pavilion on Sunday, the team representing Mansfield Middle School edged out Sage Park Middle School from Chaplin for the right to advance to the regional final of the nationwide “Pinnacle of Fitness Challenge.”
That event is set for halftime during Tuesday’s UConn-Florida second-round basketball game.

After today’s win, UConn improves to 227-11 when playing as the nation’s No. 1 team in the Associated Press Top 25, and has won 31 of its last 34 NCAA Tournament games.
