In 1967, he was hired to form the Fire Marshal Office for the Town of Mansfield. He was then asked to create the Building Inspector’s Office as the Building Inspector. He also formed the Zoning Department and became the Zoning Agent, as well as the Demolition Commissioner, the Traffic Hearing Officer, the Civil Preparedness Director, the Energy Conservation Officer, and the Burning Permit Official.
