University of Connecticut President Michael Hogan says this fall’s incoming pack of Huskies are “even more diverse and more well-prepared” than last year’s freshmen.
Hogan’s comments come as preliminary statistics reflect a 13-point jump in average SAT scores for the Class of 2013 when compared to last year’s freshmen.

A report released today by the World Wildlife Fund, “The Eastern Himalayas - Where Worlds Collide,”* includes identification of the world’s smallest deer ( 25-inches tall) and the first new primate (a macaque) to be found in more than a century.
