The EBV program includes a four-week, online course to bring veterans up-to-speed on business ideas; a nine-day, on-campus immersion workshop for veterans to learn from business faculty and successful local entrepreneurs; and an ongoing mentoring program to support veterans with their business concepts.
The extension results in nearly $10,000 in savings for the town, which will go to the town’s general fund.
Mares, stallions and colts will all be offered for sale at the University of Connecticut on Saturday, Nov. 21.
University spokesman Michael Kirk said university officials hope to start construction in May 2010 and complete improvements by August 2010.
The clinic is from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20 in COVENTRY (more details will be provided in the pre-registration link.)
Local honey and maple syrup, goats milk cheeses (and incredible goats milk yogurt), all-natural beef, and free range eggs also will be offered.
