Toxins where you least expect them

by: Submitted Press Release Thursday, February 4th, 2010

baby-bottle-graphicCome and join a potluck dinner and conversation with Coordinator of the Coalition for a Safe and Healthy Connecticut Sarah Ulh, on Friday March 5, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of First Church of Christ, UCC, in Mansfield Center.

We’ve all heard about toxic BPA in baby bottles, but did you know it is also found in the linings of most canned foods?

Have you thought about what chemicals might be lurking in your cosmetics?

Do you know which cleaning products are safe to use?

Please come for dinner and stay for an informative presentation about toxins found in everyday products and the positive actions we can take to correct the situation.

We will make some of our own ‘green’ products and do letter writing to our leaders to encourage them to act to replace known toxins with safer alternatives.

All are welcome! Questions? Call Susan Eastwood at 860-487-5903.
