Everything you wanted to know about Living Wills... and more

Find out what you need to know, how to access the information and what steps you can take to put your affairs in order.

 

Have you ever thought about a Living Will? Do you have one? Do you need one?

What is a health care proxy? Do you have one? Do you need one?

How do you make sure your wishes will be honored at end of life?

What do you need? Where do you find the forms? Is it hard to fill them out? Why does it matter if you have them or not?

Join staff from the Connecticut Visiting Nurse Association at 2 p.m. on Monday Oct. 20 at the Mansfield Public Library and find out what you need to know about what's known as "advance directives,"  how to access the information and what steps you can take to put your affairs in order.

Dial-A-Ride bus service will be available from Glen Ridge, Juniper Hill and the Senior Center for transportation to and from the library for this program.

Free and open to the public, this program will be in the Buchanan Auditorium of the library, and light refreshments will be available.
