It sounds like the appropriate measures are being taken, but reactively rather than proactively. Increased awareness and education regarding asbestos are needed - it's too hazardous and common of a material to not be receiving more attention.

Yes, night lighting adds an increased value and emotion in an already established landscape. Landscape lighting adds beauty, usefulness, safety and unfound spaces within the landscape.

A good design is built around four seasons, both day and night.

A good landscape designer who is licensed for low-voltage lighting is your best bet, for they may have the best vision for how greenscapes and hardscapes should apprear lit at night.

A company competent in this type of work is Preferred Properties Landscaping. They are the recipient of the AOLP (Association Of Outdoor Lighting Professionals) 2208 and 2010 awards.

Ms. Dineen-
Just FYI and in the interests of accuracty, a 25 mm handgun would have a one-inch diameter bore. I don't think such a beast has ever been made. I bet it was a .25 caliber, which has a bore diameter of a quarter inch.

Thanks for the map! Your responsiveness is amazing and further testimony to the advantages of local media.
The name Eagleville Brook might conceivably make people think the stream was located in Eagleville, not in the middle of campus. It looks like I will still be able to bicycle to Dunkin Donuts.

Students protesting at the Capitol should rethink their approach. Instead of protesting and asking for a larger handout from the taxpayers, they should be looking at what is driving up the cost.

The starting point should be the defined benefit retirements, excessive salaries, and liberal benefits of University staff. Compensation packages above and beyond what most taxpayers receive are now funded by students and taxpayers. Enough is enough - current students will never see in their own compensation packages that which they are protesting to support.

There is a limit to the taxpayer's ability to continue ever increasing costs. Now is the time to reform and the reformation should begin with an examination of expenses and not with tossing more money at a flawed plan of operation.

Students and their education should be the number-one priority of the University. More money does not equate to better learning - if it did, Washington D.C. would have one of the best public school systems in the nation. An overpaid PHd with little or no responsibility in a classroom adds little to the education of those protesting for more money.
