Items posted to the Community Calendar
- Must be of a community nature and of interest to the local community
- Must not be of a commercial or special interest nature
Examples of items that are of a community nature include: Town meetings, church bazaars, school events, library programs, Senior Center events, civic organization events and meetings, elections, food drives, community tag sales, and informational lectures.
Examples of items that are NOT appropriate for this calendar include: Business sales, business "opportunitiy" meetings, partisan political events, real estate open houses, personal tag/garage sales, and private organization events. In other words any event that is held to further the purpose of a business or other special interest group. Please contact sales@htnp.com regarding advertising opportunities for these types of events.
Gaining access to post your events:
Select an administrator from your organization who will be responsible for posting your events. We recommend only one administrator to avoid confusion. This person should contact the editor at mansfieldeditor@htnp.com and provide the following information:
- The name, address and nature of your organization
- Email address
- Telephone number
- A statement that you understand that the Community Calendar is NOT for posting commercial events.
The Editor will contact you and provide you with a username and password; this will enable you to post, edit, delete and manage your own event listings.
