School is closed for Columbus Day holiday and staff development day.
School will be closed on Monday, Oct. 13 in observance of Columbus Day, accoding to Superintendent Fred Baruzzi.
And there will be no school on Tuesday, Oct. 14, because it is a Professional Development Day for school staff.

While many readers will know me from The Courant, The Chronicle and The Reminder... let me introduce myself as the editor of Mansfield Today. I've been a reporter in this area for many years and first began covering Mansfield news when I worked for The Chronicle in 1991.
