Unlike print media, our e-paper affords our readers the opportunity to voice all of their opinion, without word limits. Additionally, HTNP.com will post photos with your letters, when appropriate.

Some tips for writing a good letter to the editor online:

• Small - even fragmented - sentences are okay.
• Use bullet points where applicable.
• Make words bold or italicized for impact.
• Try not to write too much: Internet readers don't like to read super-sized posts.

Not a wordsmith? No problem! Mansfield Today's editor will make sure your letter includes the proper spelling, punctuation and grammar but will never change the context of your letter.

Your letter will be posted as soon as the editor receives it - usually within hours.

Please keep photos at 600 pixels or less and in jpg or gif formats. Please be aware that cell phone pictures and/or video often suffer in quality and editors may choose to not use these submissions, if the quality is too poor.

Any photo submissions found to be fraudulent will be immediately removed and subsequent submissions will not be accepted. Contributors will be held accountable for such posts.

Please include your name and email address. Letters to the editor submitted without names will not be posted.
